Patrina Randolph: The Fierce Arts Queen

Patrina Randolph is a powerhouse of creativity, culture, and education.  She is a certified theatre educator, playwright, poet, entrepreneur, and Southern cook.  Patrina thrives at the intersection of storytelling, artistry, community, and cultural expression.  Known as the Queen of Urban Theatre, she has written and produced bold, emotionally charged stage plays that resonate deeply with audiences—blending drama, humor, and unapologetic cultural authenticity.

In 2012, Patrina launched her FIERCE apparel line, an instant favorite among women who connected with its signature bling logo and its message of strength, confidence, resilience, and survival. The collection captures the heart of her brand: bold, empowered, and purpose-driven.

One of Patrina’s most impactful roles is that of a theatre educator. Since 2021, she has brought her creativity, discipline, and soul into classrooms across Houston.  This arts educator thrives in diverse inner-city communities.  As a degreed and certified Theatre teacher currently completing her Master’s in Theatre Education, Patrina is committed to using arts education as a vehicle for academic success, healing, identity development, and social-emotional growth.

Her teaching practice is rooted in culturally responsive theatre pedagogy, ensemble building, and student-centered creative exploration.  Patrina’s gift for connecting with students—particularly Black and Hispanic youth—allows her to unlock their hidden brilliance, helping them find their voice, build confidence, and shine on and off the stage.  Whether she is teaching foundational acting skills, guiding students through voice and movement work, directing a school production, or integrating literacy through performance, Patrina empowers her students to see themselves as artists, thinkers, and leaders.

Through every lesson and production, she infuses her passion for storytelling, her belief in the transformative power of the arts, and her unwavering commitment to helping young people feel seen, valued, and capable.

As an educator. As an artist. As a creator. Patrina Randolph is FIERCE.

"As a Black woman, I understand that art and culture aren't just for show—it’s soul food, it’s resistance, and it’s that ‘bless your heart’ with a side-eye kind of truth the world needs." – Patrina Trinell Randolph
